Feds raid Mar a Lago - All things Trump

Like the child he is trump, must burn himself to prove 'burner hot'.

This story is developing. Check back for updates throughout the day.

Prosecutors on Tuesday began questioning the former attorney for porn star Stormy Daniels, whose hush money payment is at the center of the New York criminal trial of Donald Trump.

The attorney, Keith Davidson, took the stand after an explosive morning in the historic trial, when Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan held the former president in contempt of court for repeatedly violating his gag order.

He'll get a $3,000.00 fine for each instance and told not to do it again.

He will do it again.

Rinse, repeat.

Trump has broken gag orders 58 times now. Nothing has ever come of any of it other than cheap fines.

Fun fact: he was never forbidden from going to begin with.

The only thing that ever put it in doubt was if the trial was delayed. In that event, the graduation date could have been close to the verdict date, something the defendant must be present for.

But since the trial is on schedule, there is no problem.

Color me surprised. 🙄

BF Borgers, Trump Media & Technology Group’s independent accounting firm, was charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday with widespread fraud and accused of operating a “sham audit mill.”
The SEC made no allegation of wrongdoing against Truth Social owner Trump Media (DJT), which is not mentioned in the charges from the regulator.
The SEC accused BF Borgers of “deliberate and systemic failures,” including “fabricating” audit documentation and falsely representing to clients its work would comply with accounting standards.

There was something else I read recently where one lawyer, on one of his teams, wouldnt sign off on some (eveidentary?) items.
If I had to guess, and of course I am, I would say that the lawyer was afraid it was bogus, so he wasn't willing to risk entering it. That's an instant disbarment as it's essentially the same as subornation of perjury.

As described by MSNBC's Katie Phang, one showed Trump Organization officials making calculations on a piece of paper with the Trump Organization letterhead about how to pay back Cohen.

In total, the Trump Organization paid Cohen back a total of $420,000 over the span of a year in $35,000 monthly increments.

They have had the two, yes there's only two, ladies that make up the accounting department on the stand this afternoon.

It's pretty much impossible for Trump to argue he didn't know exactly what those checks were for, and he personally signed every single one of them.

it's just another example of how stupid Trump is: the first rule of being a criminal mastermind is - don't have your name on ANYTHING.

You delegate it so you have plausible deniability.

But Trump in his greed and lust for power can't stand the idea of not being the ultimate word, so his name is literally all over everything.

It was doomed to failure.
