Well, the last of the VERY old, outdated White Widow went into the crock pot on Monday at noon and cooked with one pound of butter and a few cups of water until noon yesterday.
Then I poured it through a cheesecloth lined strainer, squeezed all that I could out, into a bowl and put that in the baby fridge here in the computer room overnight.
Just got everybody out the door and here's the result:
Sliced that into three wedges and put it in some airtight Tupperware.
Then I made a bagel:
Just finished it about 10 minutes ago. Now we wait...
