Apparently, Cohen is holding together well under cross. The prosecution did a pretty good job of getting out ahead of Trump's defense team by bring up all the lies Cohen told under direct.
They (the prosecution) should be wrapping up their case today or tomorrow, then it's on Trump's defense team.
Here's the rub: I don't think Trump's defense team is going to put on a defense. I don't really see how they can. Who can they call?
- They can't call Trump. He'll lose it and just start flat-out lying his ass off and they know it.
- They can't call Weiselberg as he's already a convicted felon on top of a convicted perjurer so he has less than zero credibility.
